I have stopped in el paso on my way to l.a. and back to bklyn. just to go into cuidad juarez for some cheap tequilla and never thought of it as any place worse than some parts of bklyn. But after my neice was the murder part of a murder suicide in a drug deal gone bad some 10 years ago I'll never go there again even tho it could have happened to her in some parts of my own home town... More

Everyone who has a good word for El Paso has nothing to commend it other than that it is "diverse."
Is this the be all and end all of existence? What about beauty culture liveablility? If you want "diversity" go whole-hog and move to New York or San Francisco. You'll get "diversity" and a whole lot more.... More
