My husband and I took my daughter and her husband with us to Waterford. What a pleasant place to visit. The people are warm food is great and lodging wonderful. It is just what you want to make of it. You either love Irland or you don't. We DO. Visit the country and you will have great memories and new friends for life. The cost for 4 was no more than $2000.00 including air car and lodging.... More

We've been to Waterford several times. There's so much to do and see in Ireland. The glass factory is a must. (They'll ship all your stuff home for you so you don't have to lug it around. It takes 45 minutes to buy a loaf of bread because when they hear your \American accent\ they want to talk your ears off. Don't stay it a \sanatized\ cookie cutter hotel..Opt for the many B&Bs available. They are usually small intimate and fun with HUGE breakfasts. They make you feel like family. ... More
