I took a trip to England after two trips to Scotland and one to Ireland. Liverpool was a great place to stay because of the central location and its proximity to many spectacular golf courses. I stayed for a week and we played two rounds at different courses three of the days and one round the rest of the time. Truly an ironman golf trip consisting of a total of elevin rounds of golf in seven days. Four of which were played at world top 100 golf courses. In additino the proximity of Liverp... More

As a Brit living in the USA...

I'm so pleased to see other British cities appearing as places to travel to while visiting the UK as the majority of travelers tend not to venture outside of London. I am from Blackpool which is a coastal resort about 1 hour to the north west of Manchester and although it has very little to offer in the way of history and culture it is nestled in a beautiful part of the country.For future reference to all those wishing to see England I recommend the Lake District (Cumbria) Lancaster (very histor...
