When I went to Puerto Rico two years ago the weather was nice. We could not find a beach that had any waves. After going to the rainforest and catching some local attractions I was sure we could find waves. After renting a car and driving from one end to the other we wnt home. The food is less than wonderful as well. If I had it to do over again I would return to Cancun. That was the best trip for waves and overall water beauty for me.... More

2.Don't Miss the BioBay!

Fajardo itself is not much of a draw but the biobay made it all worth while. I just found the marina and asked when I got there about trips to the biobay. There was a guy putting his kayaks away after taking people out. He didnt mind taking me out and I even got him to drop a bit on the price. I was so impressed that I went back and did the trip again a few nights later when I was in the area again. If you go don't miss getting in the water yourself. 3.Bio Flouorescent Bay Is A Must On Your List!

When visiting Puerto Rico you must experience the Bio Fluorescent Bay in Fajardo. The later in the evening the better it is to see the spectacular sight in the water. Upon arrival at the beach you are greeted and suited up with your life vest and canoe. Guides will provide instructions to a group of 15-20 people and the journey to the Bay begins thru the mangroves which my family had lots of fun. On a clear night is just stars above and below the canoe the fish can be see as they move or jump out of the water. It is something for everyone to see and preserve it.
