I've been to Morocco twice. I spent a great deal of my time travelling between Fez, and Taza. I was also in Marrakech for some time. It was a 2 month trip to a most beutiful and friendly country. The people are so very nice and welcoming. I would not reccomend travelling the medinas alone. Even the smaller ones are difficult to get around if you don't know where you are going. The city is one of the world's surreal experiences. The souks are among the best and certainly the most fascinating. The Palais Jamail is a magical hotel with glorious views over the old city. Great food and the best rug merchant in Morocco. I have been twice and look forward to more visits. ... Read Full Review | Report This

I loved Fez. It is a beautiful city. We stayed at a wonderful hotel overlooking the city. In the early hours of the morning, as the last stars disappeared in the sky, we heard Muezzin's all over the city praying. It was an amazing thing to hear.
