A Happening Place

Ft. Lauderdale is a "happening place." It has everything to offer from A-Z. It's geographic location puts a traveler in a vantage point to visit other South Florida cities, attractions and activities. Disney is a mere 3 hour car drive to the north and Key West is a 4 hour car drive to the south. Gambling is available at the Seminole Indian Casino in neighboring Hollywood, FL on S.R. 441. Great beaches,restaurants,and more. You can hang out at the beach or walk across the street from the beach and shop,drink and etc... Love the place. Best restaurant has to be Cafe Martrano Italian Rest. (Sp?) Located near intersection of A1A and Oakland Blvd. Always see some big celeb. or sports star like Shaq there. Last time I sat next to LT. So much to do, So many places to shop, dine out, dance, relax, Upscale and well-dressed people. People there are eager to say Hello and Good Morning and SMILE. You people who dont like it there are not happy with yourself. So go back to the snow, rain, cold and nasty Northeastern part of the country where all you rude people with no life reside. I have lived in Ft. Lauderdale for a few yrs now and I think it is a good place to go. It is more quiet than South Beach and Las Olas has a great night scene, More Laid back. It really isn't very safe and pleople are rude but, you always find some one that is nice. The Beach is great and more family oriented but, really there isn't much to do for a family!
