The site of one of the earliest British fortifications on the western frontier, built in 1756, this 1,200 acre state park now offers hiking, boating, fishing, picnicking, programs and events. The fort and the 1794 Tellico Blockhouse overlook Tellico Reservoir and the Appalachian Mountains. An interpretive center exhibits artifacts and offers information on the area's history.
