LOCATED IN THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY EASILY ACCESSIBLE FROM ALL MAJOR SOUTH TEXAS CITIES FREDERICKSBURG IS A GEM. IF YOU LOVE GOOD FOODTHE COTTON GIN AND RATHSKELLAR RESTAURANTS IN PARTICULARYOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT. WITHIN JUST A FEW MILES THERE ARE MULTIPLE WINERIES AND TASTING ROOMS. BECKER TORRE DI PIETRA AND GRAPE CREEK WINERIES ALSO HAVE LOVELY GIFT SHOPS AND ROOM FOR SPECIAL EVENTS. 3.One of my favorite cities!

I have to recommend two places to eat while In Fredericksburg first Pasta Bella probably the best Italian food I have ever eaten! The penne with alfredo mushrooms spinach and sun dried tomatoes is one of my alltime favorite meals...ever! Truly superb! I also love Wheeler's the philly cheese steak is amazing the beef in texas is the best! We have driven through Fredericksburg numerous times on our road trips from Phoenix to Austin and it is my favorite part of the road trip a truly beautiful city... More
