My mom and I stayed at this hotel from August 1 to August 4,2005. When we got to Phoenix it was 103 degrees (We flew Southwest), When we got here three hours later it was 61 so it dropped over 40 degrees in that short amount of time. My mom and I stayed at this hotel from August 1 to August 4,2005. When we got to Phoenix it was 103 degrees (We flew Southwest), When we got here three hours later it was 61 so it dropped over 40 degrees in that short amount of time. We were relieved because here in San Antonio we can have some very, nasty hot and humid summer weather. It was very nice we stayed in room 402 during our stay. It was pleasant and the Grand Canyon was amazing. You haven't seen large until you've seen the Grand Canyon. This was the summer before my senior year in high school. I would love to see the Grand Canyon again in my lifetime. I have to give this place an A++ for our stay the clerk who checked us in was very nice. We took a tour of the Grand Canyon our first full day there which was Auguts2,2005. When we got back from our tour of the Grand Canyon it was very neatly clean. When we booked our stay on March 28,2005 we had no idea it would be monsoon season, but it was beautiful during our stay. You didn't need air conditioning at night it was around 55 or 60 at night around 75 to 80 in the day. It was dry. When we were done for the day we went to relax and eat supper and relax before bed. My mom was pleased with our stay with the hotel and the Grand Canyon. My mom and I have had some pretty nasty experience in our hotel stays elsewhere. Like this one hotel on the Upper West side of Manhattan we thought our room would be nice and large and have a TV that got channels, but when we got to our hotel we were disappointed. My brother's room (who is now in the Navy) was the size of the room including the bathroom it was about 100 to 200 square feet. It was very small. The hotel was called Comfort Inn Central Park West. Other than that it was nice and the one hotel we stayed at our last night before (AUGUST 4) we went home August 5, we stayed at this one hotel and it was near the Airport, so we stayed there and it was a nasty and dirty room, My mom had to clean out the sink. Gross!
