Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Reviews and Ratings

This island is the most fabulous place we have been. My husband and I travel extensively and were amazed that such a wonderful serene place was not too far from America. We only went last Spring Break and chose T and C because it was the only place that had not been booked in all the islands Mexico and Hawaii. What a great find. The weather is perfect the sand is like walking in baby powder and not at all hot. The water is the most beautiful I've seen along with the snorkeling. Crystal clear warm and so many shades of blue colors. If you want a crazy night life not for you. It's serene on the quiet side not fully developed and islands you can go to with an umbrella ice chest chairs and scuba equipment. We were dropped off at 10am and picked up at 4pm (choose your times)...the best part is that the small islands are uninhabited and it's yours with no one else on the land! We stayed at Prince Grace Hotel and it was tropical and upscale. Great Spas on the island too!

Go to Grand Turk already!! If you enjoy scuba diving look no further. The warm turquoise waters will wash away the stress and revive your spirit. So many fish so little time...The island of Grand Turk is very relaxed and far removed from the party scene. Spend a week here and dive every day twice a day. We recommend the Island House because we felt the accomodations are the best on the island. You can count on Oasis Divers to put together and excellent undersea itineary. We loved every dive. Ask for Max if you want to meet the absolute BEST dive guide/instructor. I promise you will not be disappointed. Caicos is the opposite of Grand Turk. Lavish fancy yet still reasonable. The water is great the hotels along the beach at Provo are all excellent and the restaurants serve fantastic food! The diving is good here but not nearly as great as Grand Turk. If you seek above water beauty and serious spa therapy stay in Provo a few extra days. If you're all about the underwater world it's Grand Turk hands down. Don't expect luxury just GREAT diving.

My 14 year old son and I went to Grand Turk. We swam at MargaritaVille and took a boat to Gibb's Cay and swam with the Stingrays. What a beautiful experience we had a blast!And I came home so tan it was amazing!
