Completed in 1285, St. Canice's is the second-largest cathedral in Ireland, overlooking Kilkenny. Originally established by St Canice as a monastic settlement in the 6th century, the cathedral features a variety of exhibits of historical interest, including stained glass windows, limestone grave slabs and medieval carvings by Rory and William O'Tunney. A round tower survives from the original monastery. Please check timings as they are seasonal.
