2.Gulf Shores is a yearly vacation for us!

We go to Gulf Shores every year for our family vacation. We rent a house on the beach with 2 other families. That is the only way to go. We get fresh seafood from the markets every night and cook right there. My kids absolutely love it and look forward to it every year. It is a family oriented place to go and is as nice as Destin and much cheaper!! I would recommend it to everyone!!... More

Orange BeachWe found Orange Beach in 2006 on a business trip. We rented a condo for a week in the Caribe great for families. Dolphins swim in the bay with you and us Yankees from NY would go back late Auhusts barring Hurricane warnings and enjoy the peace as the south starts school in mid August so local family get aways for the summer season are over. Great hidden treasure in America. We flew into New Orleans and drove to see the remnants of the hurricane damage first hand and enjoyed the ride ... More

We purchased a condo at Alabama Sands in Gulf Shores Alabama several years ago and have loved spending time there every year as a family. The kids love to try the local restaurants surf the tides and find treasures at the many souvenir shops. There are plenty of upscale shopping areas and fine restaurants as well for date night.
