I have stayed in Haiku twice so far you can rent some great places it is like being at a tropical spa of your own semi outdoor showers that seem to be up in the trees views of the ocean. Breakfast at the local bakery at Pawelea Cannery for eggs benedict on corn bread shop for cute clothes and beautiful jewelery or watch the glass blowers make beautiful items. I was rasied on Maui in the tiny town of Haiku which is neither a village or a jungle. People post things on here making it seem as if we live in a uncivilized area of the world. Yes Haiku is a rural community with a small town atmosphere. I can assure you that the person posted the \review\ before me is not native to the islands or even native hawaiian but a transplant. Only a transplanted fool would write such an ignorant comment.... More
