Just lovely. Prince Edward Island is paradise. Unfortunately, the visit had come to an end then back to reality which is the South of the Border USA!. No. Canadian dollar is not accepted in American stores and my bank wants $15 to convert my leftover CN$10 to USD. Bummer!

My WIfe and I cruised to Halifax last summer. It was the most fun I've had at any port of call. Haligonians are most friendly and courtious. THe city is emaculate. Great restaurants and Pubs. Honestly I could live there. I hated to leave having only been there for one day. I fell instently in love with the people and the places. We took a horse drawn carriage tour we walked the harbour walk and through the down town and visited the Alexander Keith's brewery. We then did the pub crawl. I want to ... More

I am a Philadelphian at heart but we lost a bit of our hearts to this great city.

I came from McAllenTexas exspecting to be in fridgid cold weather I too am in a coastal region and was flabergasted at the breath taking veiws. I certainly did not expect this . I invite any and all to come visit Halifax at least once in your life . I certainly will be back. I was charmed by the port resteraunts and shopping and the friendly people and I thought Texas has the friendlyest people ! I would rate this a nine star city and was very proud to visit.
