I visited Helsinki and Tampere in November of 2007. I did a lot including visiting some distant relatives and a couple of museums. I had a great time. Every one I met treated me like a king and it didn't cost that much.... More

that's what it takes to live in Hel...it's expensive and cold alot of the year and dark skies as well. The people are great however and the land in wonderful. All of the tourist things are worth doing as is a sauna. Sisu means guts and the finns have 'em. ... More

A great cityvery easy to get around . Best coffee in the worldthe Finns drink lots of it.We were there in August and it was quite warm. The people speak perfect English and very friendly.
