Hong Kong is very modern and efficient, but lacks the style and ease of Singapore's Changi airport. Also, in my experience it is common in HK to wait 10-20 minutes at the baggage claim for luggage to appear, while at Singapore's Changi the bags are often there once you clear immigration.
