This was our third year in a row to Hawaii and what can I say...it is a wonderful experience and absolutely beautiful. The islands of Hawaii and Maui are heaven on earth. The water is all colors of blue, greem, azure and sometimes purple. The rainbows make their appearance almost everyday, sometimes double ones. The sun is very strong so your sun tan is great!
Before our trip I did not consider this as a vacation spot...all of that has changed.

Our first trip to Honolulu was in 1968 when my husband came from Viet Nam for RR there. I swore to return someday but it took 15 years before we were able to go there again. Our first trip to Honolulu was in 1968 when my husband came from Viet Nam for RR there. I swore to return someday but it took 15 years before we were able to go there again. After 2 visits I bought a timeshare condo there in -84 and have only missed two times our yearly visits. Our homeowners meetings falls on the month of March. Good time of the year to go as it is not too hot then yet and rains more often are not too bad either. Since we have a small fridge dishes micro oven toaster and coffee maker we are able to make some meals in our condo just like home. That in turn gives us a change to buy our groceries in the economy not in Waikiki. Besides we love Hawaiian foods ready made in the Ward Market on Ward Street in HonoluluOur usual habit is to rent the car at the airport and go directly to Ward Market to stock up on food items before we even go to check in. The meals are lot cheaper that way and we can be comfortable in our own condo. We have our very own private Luau with authentic Hawaiian foods in such manner.Of course we have done just about everything there is to do in Oahu and many times over.Must to do list is to drive around the island and visit north Shore. There is lots of small beaches along the wind ward side of the island during the week nearly deserted. Lots of privacy. Also our very favorite shrimp is at the Giovannis on the north shore in Kahuku They serve 2 scoops of rice and shrimp scampi with garlic for $12.00. Sooo good. Look for small trailer with peoples writings on the outside of the walls on it. Don't forget to ad your names there also. Not too far from the shrimp farm on Hwy 83 is some small fruit stands. We have found the most sweet apple bananas in there along with the most sweet pinepapples. They will slice and bag them for you. Also we buy our mangos and papayas directly from the farmes. All so delicioso. That is such a nice way to meet the people and help their economy at the same time. Aloha
