Beautiful Huahine
A trip to French Polynesia was my dream vacation. We decided to visit two islands, Moorea and Huahine. This tiny island is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The only way to get to Te Tiare Resort is by boat. It was a wonderful way to view the island. The staff at the resort were very nice. A familiarity with basic French is helpful. Accommodations were excellent and the garden bungalow was surrounded by lovely flowers. Take a trip to the pearl farm and find a treasure to take home. The restaurant at the resort was very good with friendly staff and a wonderful Polynesian show. Kayaks are available for guests to explore the waters. We took a guided trip of the island and saw ancient burial sites and fish traps that are in use today. We learned a lot about the culture. In the small town of Fare, there is a market where locals sell handmade jewlery and other beautiful items which are reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed in a trip to Huahine.
