I was born and raised in Indy and agree with most of the comments made about Indy both good and bad. Indy has the sports covered on all levels. Resturants again covered however there is a lack of Mexican spots but with the growing hispanics that may soon change too. There is a lack of diversity which in my opinion would take Indy to another level. I have lived in Georgia for the past 12 years and watched this city build up all of their neighborhoods Hispanic African American low Income etc. and ... More
I was born and raised in Indy and agree with most of the comments made about Indy both good and bad. Indy has the sports covered on all levels. Resturants again covered however there is a lack of Mexican spots but with the growing hispanics that may soon change too. There is a lack of diversity which in my opinion would take Indy to another level. I have lived in Georgia for the past 12 years and watched this city build up all of their neighborhoods Hispanic African American low Income etc. and I don't see that in Indy. There a more vacant buildings than there should be in some areas. For me there will never be no place like home but there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.

If you want to travel back in time to the 1800s when racism white supremacy and ignorance with an attiude prevailed just go this this place now. The governor still doesn't have command of the English language- hillbilly speak rules. The Indy 500 is a pittance of its former self due to Indy racing leagues arrogance thus explaing why NASCAR is spreading everywhere else. Subprime loans and defunct auto manufacturing plants abound.
