Wonderful Istanbul 
I have been to Istanbul twice, and was fortunate to go with my daughter who taught in Ankara. She knows the City and the Country very well, so she took me to all the museums and to the best restaurants, as well as all of the must see sites,  and we stayed in the best inexpensive hotels, near Topkapi Palace. The food is excellent, the people are wonderful, and the history is amazing. Don't miss Konya, Cappadocia, Pamukale, Ankara, Antalya, and Amasra on the Black Sea. I would go to Turkey every year, if I could!
