Living in Turkey was a unique pleasure. Living in Izmir was a treat! The beauty of the city, the wonderful restaurants, the friendly people, and the modern aspect of this city compared to areas outside the city limits are all things I remember dearly. I have local friends I am still in contact with and one day I plan to visit. If you're into history, the ruins of the Roman Empire are abundant. Absolutely loved it. Would go back any time. Very clean and the food is fantastic. Could not ask to be treated any better.
