wowo i had the best time ever in jerusalem, so much fun espically saturday nights on ben yehuda full of people and amazing stores and the shooks were fantastic even tho the people might be annoying they where still great i advise everyone to visit israel at least once in their live ... I am a studying Jew. I was so excited to go to Jerusalem, but when i got there, I realized it was a bunch of rude and unkempt Israeli's doing hookah. I married a Jerusalemite and go every other year. Whatever you imagine it to be nothing prepares you. Hire a guide for the old city (archeological seminars and zion walking tours are good ones) - there's just too much history t be missed by wandering around on your own. Mahane Yehuda market (the city's main open air food market) is colorful and exciting. Try the Halvah from the King of Halvah - fresh, moist and delicious. Jerusalem is a wonderful place! There is so much to see and do here. The middle eastern quisine is excellent.Ancient and modern civlizations exist side by side. Many of the ruins are thousands of years old. I stayed at the Regency hotel. It had wonderful food, but the rooms need to be renovated. the hotel was built in 1987. Our trip was with a tour group, which is the best way to see Jerusalem and Israel. Going to Israel was a wonderful experience! I am planning to go back someday. ... Read Full Review | Report This
