Trip to the Bridge on the River Kwai

I went on the tour in Janaury 2004. At that time we did cross the bridge on a train and continued on the train to the town of Tham Kra Sae about 30 miles past Kanchanaburi, had lunch and returned. Overall it was about a 12 or 13 hour trip from Bangkok. I would certainly recommend this trip for anyone with any knowledge or interest of WW II in S. E. Asia. ... Read Full Review | Report This

I went with a tour two years ago. It was quite a somber experience worth seeing. The author should note that trains do run over those train tracks. I had to quickly get off as it was not safe to be on it. ... Read Full Review | Report This
