I moved away from KC in '04. I miss it terribly and do visit OFTEN. Shopping is easy and abundant. There is almost always something to do. You can get to opposite end of town (including most all suburbs) within one hour as the highway system is great and plenty. Great food can be found in nearly every suburb that includes BBQ and steak! You can get to opposite end of town (including most all suburbs) within one hour as the highway system is great and plenty. Great food can be found in nearly every suburb that includes BBQ and steak! There are great art galleries museums and parks. And KC is full of history including civil war Lewis & Clark. as well as being the home to one of the most used tunnels (by Negros trying to escape slavery). Great place to raise a family too and not too bad on the single scene either. Nascar Worlds of Fun Oceans of Fun are on the 435 loop as well as the world's best \Schlitterbahn\ Water Park coming soon!

I was here for almost a week at a convention downtown. After 6 PM it's hard even to buy a newspaper. Walk any direction from the downtown square and after two blocks you are in warehouseville. Lots of \pods\ so you can get right outside to multiple parking areas. No hassle.
