This can be a very laid-back vacation for singles and young couples, especially gays. Very visible gay scene. Good restaurants, art galleries, bars. Was home to both Tennessee Williams and Ernest Hemingway. Now has a lot of country singers living there. I've been many times. Key West

The drive down the keys to Key West can be compared to gooing from room-to-room and taking off your clothes, until you are freer and lighter than you've ever felt before. If you are going to Key West, drive. There's nothing like it. Once there, you are almost in a foreign country. The living is laid-back and easy.
