The drive down the keys to Key West can be compared to gooing from room-to-room and taking off your clothes, until you are freer and lighter than you've ever felt before. If you are going to Key West, drive. There's nothing like it. Once there, you are almost in a foreign country. The living is laid-back and easy. You wear as little clothing as possible and you walt Duval St. visiting all the bars along the way. Especially don't forget Fat Tuesday's. At the end of your walk is Mallory Square. Where else do people applaud the setting sun amid a circus-like atmosphere. Then you turn around and walk back. There are amazing restaurants to stop and eat and , of course, the bars are still there on the way back. It's like no place I've ever been, and I wish I could stay forever.
