Giant rats

When we were there in '03, there were giant 40 pound rats running wild, with some actually tamed with little saddles on them...Malaysians average about 4"6", and this is an excellent mode of cheap transportation....tasty too... ... Read Full Review | Report This

My favorite New York runway designer is Zang Toi, who comes from Malaysia! His clothes are fab!!! Check out his boutique with Spring & Fall high fashions at Lot 3 in Kuala Lumpur. Cost is in Malaysian ringgit $$$ not Park Avenue... ... Read Full Review | Report This

I really liked KL and have even thought of retiring there! People are extraordinarily friendly, the prices are cheap, and there is a fascinating blend of ancient and ultramodern architecture. They even have a monorail, something Seattle has been trying to get going unsuccessfully for years. The airport is futuristic and is well connected to multiple Malaysian and Indonesian locales.
