I am a doctor who had the misfortune of being put up here while visiting a local hospital. Apart from the disgusting state of the rooms, this place is in serious violation of multiple human rights issues: one Sri Lankan employee who had to go home to find his dead wife and daughter was charged for a new visa and docked his wages by the good owner, Mr. Khamsin, of this shabby dump. Another poor Indian employee-- a computer IT graduate-- was assured that "Imperial" meant that the Queen of England owned the hotel and stayed there regularly! This would be laughable if the owner and management weren't so utterly shambolic. The rooms are filthy and stink. My doctor colleague was sick with food poisoning for several days after eating here. Even the employees complain about the sadistic owner and management. AVOID!
