i would come here every winter for 25 years...I left the bay area last month sold everything and moved here for good..now i ski every day...what could be better???... More

beautiful area lake mountains etc. restaurants casinos obvious. skiing good but snow is wet and heavy. got married there 16 years ago. still married this is a good thing. enjoy... More

9.Best Skiing Ever!!!

Of course Lake Tahoe is incredible all year round. You can laze around the crystal blue lake during the summer working on your tan. But in the Winter it truly is paradise. Northstar is my favorite resort. I don't know if Boreal is still there but they had night skiing back in the day. Bring chains because if you get caught in a storm you're gonna need em! Reno's close enough that you can head over and gamble if you are tired of the slopes. ... More
