We love Lake Tahoe 
I think the person that wrote the last review. Came to ski a little early.. The snow is always better in February. We were there just after a big snow storm in January and the conditions were great.. I would tell her that there are lots of ski resorts around the lake if you don't like the one you are in all it takes is a short drive..
We have stayed in Truckee, and South Lake Tahoe, we have also stayed in a couple of condoes around the lake. There is always something to do.. and the views os the lake on the tops of some of those mountains is beautiful...
