My wife and I first visited Lanai in 1995 via Trilogy snorling trip. We have returned to Manele Bay Hotel (now 4 Seasons) every year since. I've taken my parents and in-laws went for Millennium week Christmas New Years and Halloween and stayed as few as 4 days and as long as 10 days. I have stayed on all the Hawaiian islands numerous times and now only go to other Islands to use up "timeshare" dates - always leaving the timeshare early to stay in Lanai longer. My wife and I first visited Lanai in 1995 via Trilogy snorling trip. We have returned to Manele Bay Hotel (now 4 Seasons) every year since. I've taken my parents and in-laws went for Millennium week Christmas New Years and Halloween and stayed as few as 4 days and as long as 10 days. I have stayed on all the Hawaiian islands numerous times and now only go to other Islands to use up "timeshare" dates - always leaving the timeshare early to stay in Lanai longer. If you are tired of "excursions" and want unpretentious elegance and comfort - no Starbucks McDonalds streetlights traffic or overpriced shopping you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Did I mention the fabulous golf? Dole Park is Hawaii 1920. Perfect!

2.Lanai Is Magic

I have been to many Hawaiian islands and visit Maui twice a year. On my last trip I decided it was time to see Lanai so off I went via the Lanai ferry. The ride over was very nice and as we cruise towards Lanai harbor a group of spinner dolphins meet the boat. The Four Seasons Lanai Manelle Bay is a perfect 10.
