Not a location for tourists...agricultural center of Greece. Can be used as a launching platform for trips to Mt Olympus, Volos or Meteora. I lived there for a year. Nice town of about 100k inhabitants. You can get into the countryside or the beach pretty quick. Serviced by road or railroad...no airport.... More
