Our flight down to LGB was very good on Alaska Airlines and a Thank you goes out to AOL Travel. Staying next to the Long Beach Convention Center provided easy access to older part of town with their outside dinning as well as the newer section, Baba Gumps, Aquarium,Queen Mary, and Bay Tours. The food was excellent at great varity of eating estabishments in the area. Another thank you to AOL Travel, the reservations for the car . Itwas handled very professionally as well as the hotel in San Deigo... More

2.Pine Street Experience

I recently visited the Pine St. Experience in downtown Long Beach. Been years since I visited this city but lots of neon street seating restaurants entertainment & shopping. Probably about 1 mile from the Queen Mary (if you've seen it before no need to go back). Overall set up pretty nice. I'm guessing you could ride the Blue Line from LA to Long Beach. It ends right at the PSE. ... More
