'grew up in SouthBay but grew to not like the people of Manhattan as did many that fled to friendlier places. If you like your weathered skin to be pulled tight, carry designer bags, are very gay friendly, & to brag, brag, brag, MB maybe the right place for you. Of course there are all types everywhere; however, you must have money to live there. I'd rather spend my $ elsewhere, enjoying the ambiance elsewhere & keep my dignity.
