When asking our children and grandkids where they want to stay in Maui, it is always KBH. We have stayed in several different places, but we alway come back here. We travel to Maui twice a year and we stay here at least one of the times. Truly a family hotel. Warm staff and convient location. I wouldn't recommend it to honeymooners, but it truly a family hotel.
Minimize Kaanapali Beach Hotel Review 
This hotel is for those who want an authentic Hawaiian experience. If you are looking for a resort experience, look somewhere else. The courtyard area is breathtakingly beautiful with all the lush tropical foliage. There is a whale-shaped pool which looked very nice, however, we preferred to spend our time in the ocean, which was just steps from our hotel room. The beach was fantastic - beautiful clean sand. There is a lovely restaurant with a live Hawaiian music show every evening. We truly felt as though we were in Paradise. We chose this hotel from the internet, and I can honestly say that if we are ever lucky enough to get back to Maui, we will definately stay at this beautiful, welcoming hotel again.
