i had the good fortune to spend a little over a week in Melbourne during a visit to Australia. I spent 2 weeks in Sydney which i enjoyed a great deal but i have to admit i feel in love with Melbourne. There was something about that town that just made me feel so comfortable there. The people of Melbourne alone were alot more relaxed and the whole atmosphere was just pleasant. Sydney is more like NYC in my book...Everyone seems to be a fashion plate wanna be...though they are wonderful regardless..I still like Melbourne cause it seemed more real and at the same time original. Though if you go...make sure ya take the Ocean Road tour...it is a beautiful sight ... Read Full Review | Report This

Melbourne is diverse in culture, people, activities, and architecture. Easy to walk around, great pubs, wonderful sites. We were fortunate to be in Melbourne on the anniversary of the hanging of Ned Kelly as well as the somber and moving Remembrance Day. A visit to the Nobbies Centre and the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island should not be missed - it is awesome Down Under. ... Read Full Review | Report This
