Mellieha is the most beautiful of all the towns in Malta. It overlooks the sea on 2 sides. As it sits on a hill it is awesome to be able to see Sicily on a clear summer evening. It is neat to see the headlights of the cars on Sicily. The restaurants are wonderful and the people are VERY friendly. Mellieha is the most beautiful of all the towns in Malta. It overlooks the sea on 2 sides. As it sits on a hill it is awesome to be able to see Sicily on a clear summer evening. It is neat to see the headlights of the cars on Sicily. The restaurants are wonderful and the people are VERY friendly. I have been going to Mellieha for nearly 40 years and have had the privilige of watching it change dramatically BUT the people are the same-freindly and helpful. We recently bought a home in Mellieha near the church with wonderful views of the sea from 2 different directions. Who could ask for more. The beaches there are awesome. Anyone who gets the chance to go to Malta shouldn't miss this beautiful village. It is by far the most beautiful and awe inspiring village on the island. Little Armier is my favorite beach.
