Mexico as a whole has many, many beautiful things to visit & do, If only they could get rid of the thieves, you are not safe anywhere, on the street, in your car, In a cab or even in a restaurant, it is really a shame, the people of Mexico could be so much better off with the income from from more tourists if they only felt safe. ... I have family in Mexico City and I have lived there for a few months. I can say that is was an unforgetable experience and I enjoyed the majority of my time there. There is so much to see and to enjoy when visiting. I will say that it can be dangerous if you do not watch out for yourself. I have been welcomed by so many neighbors and strangers with handshakes and blessings. It is a fast city that will surely run you over if you don't know what you're doing or where you're going. Just take proper precautions and make smart decisions. Get familiar with pricing as best you can, so then you can negotiate/bargain with the locals. Speak the langu ... Read Full Review | Report This

I visited Mexico City as a tourist with my mother 45 years ago. The people there are desparate now as they were then and will worship the Blessed Mother in Church on Sunday & cheat the tourists every other day of the week. Why let them? Don't go!IMore recently I was a passenger with my husband on a beautiful American cruise ship to the Mexican Riviera. The crew on board our ship spoke more languages & were dressed more elegantly than any of the passengers on the ship! Each time we disembark ... Read Full Review | Report This
