My husband and I did a road trip from Oregon to Palm Desert CA. As beach lovers of course we had to drive the coastal line Oregon/Cali. We stayed in Cayucos CA and drove over to Morro Bay. The people were so friendly. Some fun outdoor dining and what great open beaches. Actually all of the little towns in that area were great fun. Each one offering a different feel. Love Morro Bay. My husband and I have made 5 trips out to California driving the coast and everytime we would stop in Morro Bay. There is this little pizza shop that we ate at and it was the first time I ever had artichoke on my pizza. Love it and haven't stopped eating this topping since. It is such a beach town and fun even in the off season. The people are so friendly and truly caring. It has been awhile and I keep telling my husband we should take a vacation just to Morro Bay. We have stayed at the Best Western and the Embarcadaro Hotel loved them both. It has been awhile since we were there but I am sure it hasn't changed much. Can't wait to go back.
