My wife is (Russian) from latvia, but her and I have had numerous trips to Moscow, because that is where we had to fly to in order to go to Siberia....long story short, you need to know where to go, and where NOT to go in this huge, metropolitan, sometimes scary city....most people are "somewhat friendly" no one bothers yu, but trying to get any information from anyone seems like a huge ordeal...the food was ok, the weather was cold, the traffic terrible, and the hotels over priced, cold and small...but, we speant 5 days (our longest one time stay) and flew into the city 4 different times....not my favorite city...Russia does have some very nice, quaint, friendly villages..Siberia is breath-taking !!!
