Mykonos is a favorite dsestination of mine due to its diversity and charm. I went to Mykonos as a teenager a young adult with my girlfirend with my spouse and most recently with my spouse and two children. As I have transitioned through the different phases of my life I have found that Mykonos has been able to provide me with a satisfying holiday each and every time. Of course the night life and club scene is second to none so as a young adult and teenager Mykonos offered everything I longed for in an island; beautiful beaches beautiful people beautiful nightlife amble opportunity for erotic satisfaction. Paradise beach Superparadise and Scandanavian Bars were daily outposts while Jimmy's Gyros provided the needed caloric input to continue my days. As I transitioned from my hedonistic days to my more conservative days I found Mykonos to be equally gratifying. There are beautiful romantic beaches like Plati Gialos and cafes like Veranda Cafe where you can watch the sunset and enjoy drinks and desserts in a subdued ambience. Last summer I visited Mykonos with my children and found it to be very accomodating once again. It has beautiful child-friendly resorts and excellent transportation systems for such a small island. We rented a peugot and stayed at the Mykonian K resorts. They had cribs for the children playgrounds comfortable meals and activities. Again Mykonos' diverse beaches provided us with the opportunity to enjoy them on a new level. The kids loved walking through the cobblestone roads of the main city and enjoyed discovering Petros' and his relatives. I have yet to experience Mykonos as a retired senior but I am sure it will satisfy once again. I highly recommend this island for all ages and all situations. It could quite frankly be one of the best vacation destinations on the planet.
