1.Mykonos off season vs Santorini

We were on Mykonos Orhotox Easter 2006. Traveling thru the islands by ferry from Turkey to Athens. Beautiful weather too cool for swiming. Wonderul small hotel out of city core. Rented a car last day near the hotel/beach for sightseeing and then to finish up next day and take the luggage to the dock. Being into architectuer Mykonos had flat roofs and Santorini had half curved or barrell type roofs. Never shopped only. Have traveled a lot of the worls and in Athens 4 times before...was disappointed in Mykonos...move on to Santorini.

Marquise Mykonos and Goldstar Mykonos are jewelry shops on the island. Shop there at your own risk. They are likely to overcharge you severely. They have a shill who frequents the cafes who speaks good English and will try to entice you to the stores. BEWARE!

Hi I just came back from Mykonos and all I can say is that it was breathtaking. The best little island I have ever bee to (and I've been around).

Mykonos has turned into the white trash hangout of the Greek Islands. I had been goiong there for 15 years prior to my last visit in 1998. It is borish and full of drunk a**holes.

I waa there in 1991 loved it charming island however the ppl were very stoic. Would not go there again but would go to Crete again
