My husband and I went to Myrtle and stayed a long weekend (Thursday-Monday). After reading some reviews I was not looking forward to staying here,but I have to say I enjoyed it very much. I did pull the cover backand look in the bed as soon as we got in the room because some reviews said they has roaches in their bed, but I can safely say there was none! I did however see one roach in the parking deck but, it's outside so I wasn't alarmed.The room was very nice and clean, the staff was nice, alt... More
My husband and I went to Myrtle and stayed a long weekend (Thursday-Monday). After reading some reviews I was not looking forward to staying here,but I have to say I enjoyed it very much. I did pull the cover backand look in the bed as soon as we got in the room because some reviews said they has roaches in their bed, but I can safely say there was none! I did however see one roach in the parking deck but, it's outside so I wasn't alarmed.The room was very nice and clean, the staff was nice, although I didn't care much for the drinks at the bar near the pool, and the walk across the street to the parking garage was quite an expierence. You have to more orless run and hope you don't get hit. We stayed in an angle oceanview room and the balcony was rather small with only one chair and that was disappointing considering my husband and I like to sit out on the balcony together. The store on their property was rather expensive but, that could be expected. Overall, I would stay here again! The new waterpark they have is really great and kids very much enjoy it. So I would recommend staying here if you want to have a great vacation! Hope this brings light to all the bad reviews.
