Naples, on the southwestern coast of Florida, is a sleepy, relaxing city with miles of white sandy beaches. It is located within close proximity of private islands and the Everglades with many Naples hotels to choose from.
Naples hotels range from high-rise condominiums and beachfront resorts to low budget motels along the highway. In general, Naples hotels are much more affordable than those found in other southwestern Florida cities. Old Naples is full of historic, preserved architecture. Fifth Ave. and Third St. are the main shopping areas. Vanderbilt Beach, located four miles north of Old Naples, is home to many high-rise, upscale hotels. If you're looking for something less expensive yet reliable, there are a number of chain hotels located along US 41.
The Inn at Pelican Bay, located on a private lake near the Gulf of Mexico, is a Mediterranean-inspired hotel with newer amenities. This hotel is located in a quiet, upscale neighborhood and is the place to go for some rest and relaxation but close enough to Old Naples if you'd like to site see. The beginner or avid golfer can choose from local courses; Tiburon, Raptor Bay Golf Club, Hammock Bay Golf & Country Club, Tuscany Reserve, and Old corkscrew Golf Club.
In the heart of Old Naples is the luxurious Bellasera Hotel. The Bellasera Hotel is a member of Florida's Green Lodging. The rooms are Tuscan inspired and there are private cabanas located by the pool.
Rooms at the Edgewater Beach Hotel have beautiful ocean views and balconies overlooking the beach or city. There are three pools and each has a 100 foot water slide for fun! This hotel is located on a seven mile white sand beach and has the Naples Grande Kids Club providing entertaining and educational activities for kids and family.
The Inn on Fifth is located in the shopping district of Old Naples. It is housed in a former bank building and is a European-style hotel that features a downstairs pub. Close by you'll find The Naples Zoo, Naples Bicycle Tours, Everglades Airboat Tours and Manatee Boat Tour.
Trianon Old Naples is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood. If you want a no-frills, yet clean and comfortable stay, this may be the hotel for you. The hotel lends out towels and chairs to take to the beach.
