I LOVE Nassau

I've been all over the Caribbean and I still love Nassau (Paradise Island) the best. The beach is beautiful, there is plenty to do, and I've never had problems with the residents. I used to stay at the Sheraton, but it was torn down. Last year stayed at the Comfort Inn. Four adults shared a room and we were comfortable. They give passes to use the facilities at the Atlantis. Cable Beach

My wife and I just returned from our seond trip to Cable Beach in a year! If you are a first time Traveler to CB you may need some adjustment as much is changing there. Major hotel construction and reconstruction will be worth the wait. Cable Beach is more laid back than PI and one an just sit on the beach or lounge by the pool and have a great time there. Been in Nassau for one day from a cruise ship., I will never forget the blueness and clearness of the water as we cruised into port. Remember the straw market, at the dock the english style policemen, some steps going up a long ways to somewhere, the casino and a drink at a fancy hotel.Nassau is nice and I would go there again if I could. ... Wow what a beautiful place! the beaches, the water slides (mostly heated) the grounds Everything was a wow! We sailed over on the NCL Gem, did our own excursion and checked in to the Comfort Inn hotel, Which gives a 2 day Full access to Atlantis pass, per 4 person. There hotel is very spacious and clean, wish my room was that size on the ship! We had a great time, Children and adults! The ocean was blue, warm, and the waves were the perfect size to body surf.
