My wife and I just returned from our seond trip to Cable Beach in a year! If you are a first time Traveler to CB you may need some adjustment as much is changing there. Major hotel construction and reconstruction will be worth the wait. Cable Beach is more laid back than PI and one an just sit on the beach or lounge by the pool and have a great time there. Do not fail to visit the fish fry on Friday night (ask anyone). As a matter of fact most of the restaurants are open all week now days and some very good food values can be found here. Rent a car and drive around the Island. The Bahamian people are beautiful. This was our fourth trip to Nassau and my personal 9th. $1.oo safe and re;iable bus service in and out of town makes it easy to see Downtown and more. Bring your clubs if you golf and a little xtra $$ for the Greens fees (expensive but worth it) I'll go back anytime .

Been in Nassau for one day from a cruise ship. I will never forget the blueness and clearness of the water as we cruised into port. Remember the straw market at the dock the english style policemen some steps going up a long ways to somewhere the casino and a drink at a fancy hotel.Nassau is nice and I would go there again if I could.... 2008 just came back from AtlantisWow what a beautiful place! the beaches the water slides (mostly heated) the grounds Everything was a wow! We sailed over on the NCL Gem did our own excursion and checked in to the Comfort Inn hotel Which gives a 2 day Full access to Atlantis pass per 4 person. There hotel is very spacious and clean wish my room was that size on the ship! We had a great time Children and adults! The ocean was blue warm and the waves were the perfect size to body surf. Yes food ... More

Yes food and snacks are on the pricey side but large Nacho's with cheese only 4.50 LOL It's a Must experience The Digs was a nice aquarium which you don't go to until you are done with the sunshine and than that is free anyways after 5 pools close down at 5BJ and family from NY

We travel to Nassau at least twice a year if not more and stay at the Atlantis for practically free! How? We gamble and not big time. I play the 5 cent slots and occasionally poker and my husband plays a little blackjack. Sign up as a casino player and they comp you like crazy! They will send you several mailings a year for free rooms etc.! We have been going for years and absolutely love love love the hotel the people the weather.....I could go on and on!! Getting ready to go again in Ap... More

Me and some of my family members went to Atlantis about 4 years back. it was beautiful and breathtaking! The only big let down was that the woman (litteraly) chase you down on the beach to get your hair braided! And they were very grumpy! LOL! But it was beautiful and clean!
