Natural Bridge has a lot of variety to offer for a getaway. The Natural Bridge itself is an awesome nature experience. The view of the bridge is spectacular, and even offers a night show of lights and music. Other distractions include a wax museum, a toy collection (billed as a museum, ******* free), Foamhenge (a model of Stonehenge), a zoo, a drive through safari, and a dinosaur park. There is also hiking and antiques. The hotel in Natural Bridge is not as up to date as those 12 miles down... More
Natural Bridge has a lot of variety to offer for a getaway. The Natural Bridge itself is an awesome nature experience. The view of the bridge is spectacular, and even offers a night show of lights and music. There is also hiking and antiques. The hotel in Natural Bridge is not as up to date as those 12 miles down the road in Lexington, ******* waling distance to many of the attractions. Those with kids could spend a couple days with ease; however, the nghtlife for parents is a little sparse. Just a few hours from DC.
