New Orleans, Louisiana, is often described as a European city within the United States.

The neighborhoods in New Orleans each have their own styles that make them unique, and these characteristics extend to the New Orleans hotels. The French Quarter, or the Vieux Carre, is the oldest neighborhood in the city, and features a mix of Spanish, French, Creole, and American tendencies. The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel has received the four-diamond luxury award for the past 27 years. The rooms feature marble bathrooms and some have private balconies that overlook Royal and St. Louis streets.

Another one of the New Orleans hotels in the French Quarter is the Le Richelieu. Le Richelieu is a small hotel, and is actually the owner's personal home. Each of the 86 guest rooms in the two historic buildings are individually decorated with quality furnishings, brass ceiling fans, and artwork.

The Arts District, also known as the Warehouse District, is sometimes called "The SoHo of the South." The Contemporary Arts Center, the National World War II Museum, and over 25 art galleries call this neighborhood home. The Renaissance Arts Hotel is one of the fine New Orleans hotels located in this district. The rooms are outfitted with luxurious bedding, including designer duvets and clouds of pillows. If you need to work from your room, you will be delighted with the lighting, spacious desk, and ergonomic chairs.

St. Charles Avenue has been called "The Jewel of America's Grand Avenues." Great mansions line the street along with Audobon Park, Loyola, and Tulane Universities. The Hilton New Orleans is also located on St. Charles Avenue. As with all of Hilton's hotels, you can count on tastefully appointed guestrooms and impeccable service. Little touches such as down duvets and pillows, Evelyn & Crabtree toiletries, and an MP3 clock radio will make your stay on St. Charles Avenue feel like home. The Hilton New Orleans Riverside is only three blocks from the French Quarter and is adjacent to Harrah's Casino.

With such a variety of New Orleans hotels to choose from in the different neighborhoods, each stay in New Orleans can feel new and fresh. Enjoy your trip.
