We are Jersey transplants and were going to our home state to visit relatives. Flew United and due to poor boarding procedure we were late leaving SFO. The captain was able to make up the time so we arrive in Newark on time. Was surprised to learn United now charges for checked luggage. The only thing that came with the flight was soft drinks; no more meals like the old days. $9 for a snack box that you could put together for $2. Flight booked solid so we were told no blankets or pillows a... More

Never again!!! I lived in NJ for all my life. I have taken people to and from Newark Airport. I have flown through this airprt in the past, but this is the first time I have flown in since I moved away. Next time I'll just fly to Philadelphia and take my chance on the ride up. Too many delays and too many people to funnel through Arrivals. Good luck EWR I won't be back!!!... More
