Hiking the river 
There is the beginning of the hiking traing going to Tobermory. Its a grat experience to hike a portion of it. The lower gorge has also some great hiking right down to the river. All is free. I dont recommend hiking down on the American side its not that pretty there, but if you want to be next to the turbulent water, you can try it.
